The Suite is Sweet
Bewertet am: Jun 1, 2008
Fazit: From Microsoft Office 2003 to today's 2007 there are some great upgrades saving time and frustration. The whole Suite is easier to work in with more options
I am in Community College and have taken Office 2007 as a credit class. I really like how the applications work so well together with the same data. The interface has changed and it took me awhile to get used it, though I feel the organization of the menu items and options are easier to work with. The interface has icons with less words and I like more words less pictures while working on formatting.
My major is Business Technology and even though I am using the Standard version of Office 2007 versus the Business edition, there are many business options. One area that I love is setting up a new document using templates. This has been a great improvement. All I have to do is open the application that I desire and browse through the templates. After choosing which template I want to use, I can download and use without leaving the application window and opening up Explorer. After I finally get to www.microsoft.com; select templates; more sub-menus.etc. I still have to save it and ping it to my system and maybe will get to apply it to my current document. What a hassle this used to be and formatting is a bear. Now, it is "one-stop-shopping" and ready to use fast.
There are compatibility issues with 2003 that have been accounted for and resolved with the "save as" 2003 compatible document feature. The formatting between 2003 and 2007 documents have also weathered well. I am using many more of the options in sub-catagories that are available.
